I followed up multiple times, and each time the reason kept changing — from "manager is on leave" to finally "someone else was selected due to salary expectations."

Yikes! Some days, I just can’t stand my job

I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.

I have COVID delayed vacations planned for the last week in August and the first week in October.
