They had their moment in the past but feel they have bordered on tacky-ish more recently.
Totally agree - watches are way too big and feel like the brand is for a certain type of personality (white db’s)
They’re watches that have a strong personality, which is good. Either you’re into them or you’re not. There’s nothing sadder than getting a boring watch because it checks someone else’s boxes. You wouldn’t let people on the Internet pick your tie for you, same goes for your watch.

Due, 38mm. Precisely because the Luminor etc are massive!
That one is awesome! Also DM’ed
The due looks great but it loses the diving watch appeal considering it’s waterproof resistance is limited to 30m. Panerai enthusiasts hate it for this reason, and those who don’t like panerai hate it because it’s a panerai. It’s stuck in a weird place, but that means you can likely get a pre owned one for a decent price
Panerai, Breitling, and Tag Heuer all had their moments, but the torch has been passed. Nice watches, but they’ve lost the “je ne sais quoi” that once made them desirable.
Agreed; those 3 still hold the torch, although Omega is doing some weird sh*t these days... I was thinking more along the lines of Tudor and GS.
What model are you looking at? Solid brand, big watches, decent history. I like them
I have the 1392 with the (42mm with the in-house) and I find it small enough to be versatile
Love them.
Can’t do it. Pams are love them or hate them.
I have the 1389 and I love it. Some of the newer models with weird colors are not my style.
