I’m currently a technical project manager looking to pivot into Product Management. I’m wondering - is this investment worth it? Interested to hear your thoughts.

I have cleared conflicts but the background check won’t clear for another week. I have passed background checks at three firms, a background check by USCIS to obtain my citizenship, and haven’t committed any crimes or even a moving violation since then. Am I safe to give notice before background clears?

What types of non-entry level exit opportunities are available to senior associates at BigLaw firms (i.e., working for a firm)? I have accepted my sexuality and found peace with the long battle of wanting to be something not what I actually am. On one side I have a lot of pressure around me being gay and trying to get a PR and get out of India, on another side I have a lot financial issues. I’m trying so hard to focus on work and to meet the expected bar for my current role. But the office politics here is toxic and always putting me down.
