Question for all the Salesforce employees out there: which should I apply for? A Solutions Engineer position or a Salesforce professional services role focused on delivery? Looking to make the move but would want to know more about how the two compare in regards to total comp, WLB, career progression, exit opportunities, etc.
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Certifications don’t help you get PM roles - experience working closely with a Product team will. If you can’t move directly into PM, move into a PM adjacent role
I did my certification at Product School and it was half the price. It was incredibly valuable, I learned a ton and would highly recommend it. Even if the certification itself isn’t valuable to you in your career, just learning the various components and strategies would help anyone in the role. Also, having a certification is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to pivoting into a new role.
Talked to someone who used to teach there. One of the best programs of its kind, but none of the programs are worth it. Just not how you get the job.
How much does the certificate cost?
This one is just under 6k.. it’s about 2k more than other ones from Product School and General Assembly to name a few
