I gave a R1 interview at McKinsey for a non-consulting position about a month ago. After chasing down the HR (politely) multiple times for an update, they finally got back to me - and said the hiring manager needs more time to respond to my application.

Is this a rejection, or do I still have a chance of progressing further? I am trying to be neutral, but the delays are making me want to pull my hair out. Any clues about why this is happening would be much appreciated.

How's the work culture at your ad agency?

I’ve been offered a reporting consultant job for less than 60k and I bring 9+ years of experience to the role. They should be offering more. I don’t want to settle but I don’t want to miss an opportunity to move. Reporting consultants should start at $65k per recruiting sites. Any advice? How can I get HR/recruiters to offer more? TIA

What's the size of TV that you use at your home?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. How do you answer the question about yourself in i-944 where you can indicate "self" and it asks you if you live with said individual "self", and if this individual is filing for an immigration benefit with you or has in the past (again it's weird because you're talking about yourself.. ).

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?
