What’s one thing you look to leave behind in 2024? That’s a question I haven’t had to tackle before and it piqued my interest.

For me, it’s the inner critic. I’ve been working on it in therapy and it’s time to get serious about taking the power back. How about you?

Where and how do you search for new opportunities?

I use LinkedIn, my network, search key words in Google for adverts and look on organisation's careers pages.

Is there a more structured way for me to do it?
Any websites that I should check out?

I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. My question is, is it realistic for a 25 year old young professional to handle dealing with all the extra curricular’s that come with owning a rental property ?
