I got an offer from Capgemini on 23rd Jan with 60 days NP. I have not yet resigned till now.

Is it okay to talk to my manager for resignation and ask for 60 days np. Actually I got to know that I have to serve a 90 days Notice Period.
What are the chances that my Manager will relieve me in 60 days.

Capgemini HR said they can extend my DOJ as per my last working day email.

I don't know what to do now. Confused.
