I got an offer from HCL but in end of offer letter 18 months aggreement. What's does it mean, they are hiring for only 18 months or ??

What's expected CTC for lateral hire in PWC AC for a guidewire business analyst? Yoe is 7.. 5 for BA, 2 for other.
