Hello live in LA anyone looking for a National Sales Manager. Am in the staffing employment industry. Thank you,
As a salesperson I generally take the approach of keeping my opinions to myself, if a customer asks me something directly I'm not going to lie to them I'll share what I believe in a respectful way. In other words I don't try to force my views on anyone, but lately our world seems to be more and more polarized on everything, and everyone is offered just by knowing you don't share the same views as they do they can't imagine their opinion isn't the only one. How are you handling these situations?
What does Sales Enablement mean to you? Does anyone here work in some type of Sales Enablement roll currently?
Do seasoned enterprise reps actually think that MEDDIC helps the sales process? This is coming from the perspective that champions are undervalued and the economic buyer in a F500 company does not usually speak with vendors. The market here is developer tooling. Curious to hear thoughts as many sales leaders use MEDDIC as an inspection tool to manage sales reps with little practical value for deals.
What HR ticketing system do you use and what important aspects did you consider when looking? Our company is looking into ticketing systems and this will be our first time looking. Right now I’ve seen Zendesk, Workday and Happy Fox. Has anyone sued those before?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a years of service awards vendor? We are looking to move to an online catalog where our employees can pick the gift they want. Thanks in advance!
Have you ever experienced workplace trauma? If so, how did it impact your personal life and mental health?
What are your tips and tricks, go-to sites, etc. to stay up to date on the latest HR legal and compliance information?
Actively seeking a new opportunity and I am slowly starting to feel discouraged due to lack of response. Anyone else having issues searching for employment right now?
Would my bosses let me move to work in a different state? I work as an internal consultant within KPMG, working for the firm within the internal HR team. I have been with KPMG for 5 months but I am wanting to move back home to be with my family - on the other side of the country. There’s only a 2 hour Timezone difference and I’d make sure to work on current time. My line manager I report to lives in another state to me anyway - and it seems to work well for her. Am I pushing my luck to ask?
Does anyone have creative ways that they are capitalizing on outside sales perks such as: mileage, hotel points, credit card points, etc.? So far my solutions are high mpg vehicle to maximize profit on the 57 cent per mile standard and the American Express Hilton Honors credit card to gain points after the company reimbursement.
How many of you have actually read the entire handbook? How long was it? What was the hardest or easiest part of the handbook for you?
I’m curious if anyone knows of any NY or NYC laws around requirements for an employer to employ a certain percentage of underrepresented minority groups? Would greatly appreciate any guidance here!
I’ve been tasked right off the bat with implementing Facebook Workplace as an engagement/communication tool. I looked it up and seems fairly easy, especially as a facebook user. But as with anything it can be a challenge to get employees to actually use/check it. So-- does anyone have experience with Facebook Workplace? If so, what are some things that have worked/didn't work for you. Do you like it?
https://www.pipedrive.com/ This weeks technology highlight is Pipedrive. My company still does not have a formal CRM. I went out and found my own.
Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run
Leaving PwC soon, would the Amex MR points still be active? I have another Amex card that is linked to my corporate MR.
In terms of "prestige, etc" how would I compare to my friends if they all do audit or tax and I'm in consulting but not at a b4 firm. Better or worse? I feel like there's more value add in what I do
Instacart is a blessing for the consulting life! I land and get home and 10 mins late my groceries arrive.
F🐠. I think I’d like to date a consultant but one in a different city...because is it really long distance if we are both consultants?
Where can I find good quality t-shirts, specifically a black and a white tee? Not looking for fast fashion ones that fall apart in the first few washes. Thanks!
Can someone on the west coast help me (M1) out here. Need to go to sleep. 🙂. https://joinfishbowl.com/post_wc1qe
So Uber out here scamming candidates? Any stories to share? HR contacted me about an analyst role there.
As a senior where do you draw the line for charging time to an engagement where you’re rolled off (or haven’t rolled on yet) but are being asked questions or to do things?
Can someone help me understand how the Chase Sapphire Reserve travel credit works? Looking at adding this card.
Client has their values poster around the office, incl toilet stalls, w/a pic of 5 happy employees. I met a stakeholder today and blurted out "Oh I see your face when I'm on the toilet" FML 🤦♀️
Those who moved or are considering moving from a Big 4’s Cybersecurity practice to Industry, what roles/teams did/would you move into?
Does changing your LinkedIn setting to “looking for jobs” actually increase the amount of reach-outs you get from recruiters? And is there any risk in that not going over well with my current employer? I’m at a small firm
