Who promoted you? Talk to them about the role, your goals, and setting clear expectations.
You can be proactive. Instead of waiting, you can also take the initiative. Like... Work with the other leads on the accounts you are working on. Ask them questions about the clients and the different lines of businesses. Understand those goals. Show them that you can see the big picture and bring ideas (doesn't have to creative related specifically, can be process too) to help clients real their goals. Own being a mentor. You don't have to constantly be talking, just make sure when you do say something, it's insightful and it matters, that they'd want your opinion on.
You got the promotions, so they did see something in you. If you're still unsure, speak with your supervisor and talk to them about your career development and how you see yourself stepping into this role, what else you can do to continue this path towards a CD
