I had attended TCS walk-in interview for pune location after all 3 rounds they had informed me that im selected and will receive an email in the next week it has been around 3 weeks now no call or email from their side! This is so frustrating no poc for the walk in tried contacting the hrs on linkedin no one is responding! How long does it take for the walk in applications to be processed?

Capital gains tax rate - I know there are diff rates (0/15/20) depending on income threshold but is the threshold based solely on “earned income” (i.e., wage)? For ex. if I quit my job and hv zero earned income and sell my stocks with 5M gain in the same yr, there would not be any capital gain tax?? It doesn’t seem right but is that the rule?
