Cut the ad budget completely, have the team carry out extensive research and then use nothing from it, spend one month of work in creating a super labour-intensive personalised Christmas card for each customer, demote a head of marketing that had completely transform the organisation as there were no immediate results, make decision exclusively based on the gut feeling of the owner, restructure the marketing team org chart 4 times in one year, constantly pitting marketing against sales.
