I think RPA is generally overhyped. RPA is less to do with analytics than with simple coding.
I think most companies struggle with strategy and scaling, therefore it’s quite tough to have a real exciting project.
My take is that over the next 5 years there will be a bunch of projects but none really that will make us tick. Then RPA will he replaced with other automation tools - basically digitisation of the whole process rather than simple automation.
That’s my experience, at least.

RPA is basic and now it's cognitive RPA and Intelligent automation.
5-6yrs later don't know where we all be...
Don't live eyes closed..RPA is old now...like workflows and scripts...
I was hyped up about rpa for a long time until I realized its not a solution but a short term remedy. Next 5-7 years is good. Beyond that you’ll have to retool.
I'll go. Name one thing RPA can do for me that cant be done in python? The cost of the software packages from these vendors are laugh out loud ridiculous.
