I have been selected by Recro, but the client-side background verification (BGV) process has not yet started, and I haven’t received any link to initiate it. Also, I have not received an offer letter so far. Recro mentioned that the offer letter will be shared only after the BGV is confirmed.

Could you please let me know if this is the standard process, or if there is anything I should be concerned about?

I’ve been having a bit of trouble working with one partner at a new firm. There are definitely things I can/need to work on for improvement, but I’ve been practicing for four years and have had no trouble with other partners/peers before. This partner sent an email to me with bills for one client of his/hers I worked on and now looped in a practice management person to have a ‘management call’ (prob to talk about billing less..) Should I be looking for other opportunities?

Something has been bothering me for a long time and I want to get it off my chest.

My firm does upward feedback and I asked about 10 of my team to participate so that I could be a better supervisor for them. My results: I got mostly great feedback with constructive points, however along with it I received the meanest, most cold hearted criticism I’ve ever seen (con’t in comments).

Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice? I’ve been bait & switched into a horrible role, overworked to the point of having medical problems, and no amount of diplomatic talks with my manager has improved the day to day. My mental health and my personal relationships have been on a steady decline.

I don’t have another job lined up yet. But I’m danger close to quitting and taking my chances with freelance. Could it be worth it?

Been having trouble moving on since girlfriend ended relationship 3 weeks ago after 2+ years of dating. Before ending it she came over 3 weeks prior to basically give me a chance to work things out and we had a good discussion but then I went back into our routine and didn’t really fight for it or have serious follow up convos that we needed. I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ?
