Job has up to 80% travel PwC
How is typically life for these positions requiring travel? This is for a SWE position.
Currently work with clients is remote as stated by the recruiter. If work is currently feasible through virtual means, will there be flexibility to choose to travel for this position?
I have an offer with PWC and have a family. I would prefer to be with my family.

Might be next week, offer processing is bit delayed in SAP
I had applied and interviewed for a role with SAP—hopeful, excited, and ready to give it my all. Everything seemed promising, until... nothing. No update. No rejection. No explanation. Just silence.
As job seekers, we put so much of ourselves into every opportunity. Time, energy, hope, preparation, emotion. To be ghosted like this is not just disheartening—it’s dehumanizing. We’re left hanging in limbo, checking emails, refreshing inboxes, second-guessing ourselves, and trying to stay strong in a process that feels deeply unfair.
SAP is a global name. A leader in innovation. But when things like this happen, it raises a painful question: Do they really value people and the work we put in? A polite rejection would have been okay. We can accept a ‘no’. What’s difficult to accept is silence—being treated like we never existed.
This isn’t just about me. It’s about a larger problem in today’s hiring culture. The emotional toll of being ghosted is real, and yet there's no accountability. No one questions it. But someone should.
I hope this post makes at least one hiring manager, recruiter, or decision-maker pause and think. Because behind every resume is a human being. And we deserve at least the dignity of closure.
