I have sat in investigation meetings where everyone in the room looks exhausted - not from guilt, but from fear. Sometimes the process itself feels punitive, even when it is meant to protect fairness. How do we balance accountability with humanity in healthcare investigations?

It is a high-pressure situation. There should always be transparency and consistency when an investigation happens. Has to come from leadership and those in charge to ensure that happens.

Exactly. Transparency should not be optional. When people understand the process, fear gives way to trust, and that changes everything.

With respect and objectivity. It's not a witch hunt, it's a fact-finding mission. There's no way to make it any less taxing. It's draining for everyone involved, guilty or not - it's high stress and it's taking everyone away from doing their jobs.

That is so true. Investigations often forget the human cost. Clarity and compassion can turn a painful process into a fair one.

Totally disinterested in tax, have 2.5 years experience and masters in accounting. Banking and finance jobs for about 3 years before I got into accounting. Just started actively looking in industry, but fear that if I continue to stay in my current position, I will get pigeonholed into tax only positions in the future. Cont...

PwC Leaving EY after 4-5 months, as the team that I joined is a big mess after a slew of resignations. Pwc offered me less than 5% hike, while Capegemini and Genpact are offering more 30% or more. I wonder what's wrong with big four these days.
