I have sat on policies I knew were outdated because I could not get leadership to sign off on change. It frustrates me because staff suffer while the paperwork gathers dust until something goes horribly wrong. What is the longest you have waited for a decision that should have been simple?

A couple of months waiting on back and forth, that didn’t change anything or need to happen. I appreciate wanting everyone to be on the same page, but let’s do it a little quicker.

Yes, the endless back and forth that changes nothing is the worst. All that time wasted just to land right back where we started—it is demoralising and unfair on staff who pay the price.

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way

Currently looking for an outside sales position in Massachusetts.

I have 7 years experience in sales. But I am relocating from North Carolina to Massachusetts.

Would anyone happen to know any great companies hiring?

A majority of my experience is in the logistics and logistics technology side of sales. I’ve been working remotely doing over the phone/ zoom demo sales. But I would love the opportunity to service my clients in person!

People who are cleanliness/organization freaks and have SOs who are not as clean/organized, how do you deal with it? Just learn to live with it?

SO moved in, however they aren’t as organized (an example is closet, my clothes are neatly folded and kept while theirs are mostly a pile of rolled up clothes). It does upset me and for some reason comes across as lazy which it may or may not be. We have had one minor chat and they saw it as ‘house rules’ and were worried there may be too many rules.
