Rolled off my first project due to performance. I’m bummed and it’s the first time it’s happened to me. Talked to my coach and PM about it. Still feel like I have a scarlet letter.

I have recruiters that are sending our premium rates out to candidates. This was never allowed at previous employers. Has this practice changed over the past year? We always held those rates close to the vest. I have even had a recruiter ask for the 401(k) vesting schedule and matching plan. This is not public information and should not be provided to candidates. Am I missing something?

Hi All! I need some help. I got recently laid off and I am going to start interviewing for roles soon. Should I tell recruiter that I’m not in the company anymore? If so, what should I say? (I got fired due to my performance, but my manager set me up for failure from the beginning, aka toxic leader).
Also, should I update my LinkedIn so that recruiters know I’m open for work?

Has anyone had experience or know someone that was an FBI special agent for accounting/finance? I am really drawn to this but I am concerned about the 50 hour minimum weeks, including odd hours and having to be on call 24/7.

Do you all shave every time you wear a skirt/dress/shorts (when stepping out casually like for errands or coffee)? I used to always because of comments my friends made when I was younger. But now that I am older, I don’t care for THAT much shaving. Also moved to a warmer city this year and foresee myself being in short clothes more. Feel conflicted.. I know it’s my body so I should do what I want.. but also want to hear what others do.

I found out I’m about 5k underpaid than all my peers at the same level because I have a bachelor degree (5 year undergrad route) instead of Master. But I recently got my CPA license in hand so that should made up my education. I’m also expected to be promoted to senior 1. I’m not sure what to expect for the raise this year so I’m wondering if anyone has been in the same situation? Thanks!

Need advice -

My manager is generally a nice person but he is not super clear about what he wanted us to do. Today he said to me "this is something I had asked you to do bla bla". The thing is I don't have a recollection he ever asked me to do it. He asked me to do things that often led to nowhere or no follow up after submission too. I suspect he doesn't remember who he had talked to and what he had said. Anyone dealing with someone similar and has good advice on how to handle this?

I'm working in a mid level start-up as a ServiceNow QA with 4.5 years of experience and leading a team of 7 people. I've completed 3 professional certifications in the last 1 year including ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow CIS - ITSM, and ITIL 4 Foundations. My current CTC is INR 11 LPA and I'm due for an appraisal next month. Can you guys please help me suggest the package that I should ask for during the HR negotiation?
