Can/should I represent myself (or in other words do not hire a buyer’s agent) when buying a new construction? Will I get the 3% that would have gone to the buyer’s agent, that i can put towards closing cost? I wouldn’t do this if buying an older property but I can’t think of much that an agent would add value in new construction purchase to justify the 3% cost. Thoughts/suggestions/guidance? Recently interviewed at Adobe, it was great. Even the senior designer I was connected with escalated it a lot. But then suddenly after the last interview, I haven’t heard in a week from them even after multiple follow ups. Recruiter said she will reach out on Monday, but even Tuesday passed now. Should I wait a week or move on for other offers?
