I joined NTT Data on April 22 as a Mainframe Developer. At the time of joining, I was directly allocated to a project Now, I have been informed that I may be released from this project by the end of October.
I am not fully aware of the bench policy and I’m a bit concerned about whether I will be assigned to another project internally or not. Could someone please guide me on the bench process and also help me explore available opportunities within the organization?

Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. What shall be the next steps, shall I wait for some days or start looking for other jobs as getting a project looks difficult as there are minimalist responses.

When you meet with a partner for a new assignment. Do you bill for that time? I’m a new associate, so I don’t know. On the one side it seems that meeting and conferring for an assignment requested by the the client would be billable since it’s using firm time and resources. On the other side, we are just talking about how to tackle the assignment and not tackling the assignment itself.

Trying to come up with some project work for my University Sourcers to complete that will benefit my team. Their most recent ask was to generate a list of universities in each state that we source from within iCIMS. What other projects have you found to be beneficial to enhance recruiting efforts?
