Not high school you come to work to get a check. You use that check to eat. Don’t get it twisted work is not a popularity contest. Just make sure your boss is happy with you

lol you’re right. Thanks!
This would probably hurt my feelings too. I don't think there's really anything you can do other than try not to think about it. Easier said than done, but there's no sense fretting over people who only think of you as a work friend.

Thanks!
I think I'd feel the same way, it’s so hurtful to realize you’re not as included as you thought. It’s okay to feel hurt, but try not to take it personally. Maybe it’s just a casual thing for them. If it’s bothering you, you could try reaching out to one or two of them and see if you can connect more.

Thanks!
Not being included can sting, I wouldn’t jump to not being able to be friendly with others at work. Might also be a blessing in disguise. I know some of the outside groups or text message threads cause more harm than good to ‘friend’ groups. I think you can make friends at work, just be weary too.

Thanks !
My initial response is count your blessings. Things like that are usually good to avoid. If you feel hurt over it, I guess I can understand that. But they're just people at your job. I never let myself feel like my coworkers are all that important. And I really don't want to be gossiping with them outside of work. Maybe I'm just wired differently.
