I keep running into the same problem. A lot of job postings ask for 2+ years of experience, but I only have one. I'm really interested in this specific role and want to apply anyway, but I'm not sure how to address the experience gap. What's the best way to handle this without wasting anyone's time?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

Would like some thoughts on a 2-br NYC condo my husband and I are considering. $250K HHI (no kids). No loans or debts, both have newish cars fully paid off.

Offer would be for $725K, with 10 percent down. 30yr mortgage @5%. We would need to include closing costs in the mortgage, to keep about $10k liquid. Monthly costs will be about $5k.

This unit is special, very rare (we’ve rented in the area for 10 yrs and know the local market well). Should we go for it?
