I know this is probably true for many of you, but I just can’t function well at work if I don’t get enough sleep. I struggle with getting the recommended amount and find myself playing catch up on my days off. What are some tips for getting more rest during the week?

For me, it is all about routine! I wake up around the same time every day and follow an unwinding routine before going to bed around the same time every night. I only change it up for special events or situations. I sleep well. I know I am lucky. A lot of people struggle.

For the most part, I sleep well, unless I'm stressing about something.

I used to be okay if I didn't get enough sleep, but not anymore. I need at least 7 hours to function.

I have the same issue! It’s miserable for me as I have to get up by 4 at the latest so I can leave by 5:00 at the latest and be at school by 6. I pass many schools and railroad tracks which can really hang me up with buses stopping every block and trains that have 200+ cars that it’s pulling. I don’t get in bed until after 10 and struggle falling asleep (even with prescription medication for it). I tend to come home and take a quick nap of 30 minutes and tat really helps! My doctor is really on me about going to bed, but that’s when all the good shows start. Good luck to you!!! I can definitely relate to your pain with this!

I have the same issue with trying to fall asleep. I have tried different meds and sleepytime tea.

I seriously can't function if I don't get at least 8 hours. I'm not a morning person which can make things really hard.

I have a real estate client who at the top of his organization chart owns is 50/50 partners in a real estate investment company. First question is it advantageous to have the top of the organization 50/50 partners own the r/e company as an s-corp? That 50/50 company then owns 70% of holding company they own all the real estate as a partnership that the original partners are 35/35 and the investors own the remainder. All the real estate deals are then owned by this holding company.
