I like Ben Affleck as an actor, but the commercials he makes are absolutely terrible.

The only good one was the drive thru one, but I heard that was an ad agency idea, but he got credited for it instead and got his agency to replace the agency who suggested using him in the first place.

How true that is… I’m not sure. But the commercials are embarrassing. And proof that ad creatives actually know what they are doing. Mostly.

New job.
Moved from agency after 6yrs, into a startup (€8m Series A, high growth); first marketing hire. My manager is ex VC, seems to like managing by fear, let’s fire X, let’s cut the agency etc. sets tight deadlines & adds urgent items last minute. Others seem to feel I’m doing great but I am butting heads with him constantly about unrealistic workloads etc. Really not enjoying interacting with him, thinking about leaving... should I stick it out? I feel like I’m being abused, but need money!
