Hi, I have an interview at BCG DV next week for the “Venture architect” role.
Any insight on the role (beyond the job description on the website)?
Also, does the interviewing process include case interview questions like in “regular” BCG strategy consulting interviews? Thanks in advance! BCG Digital Ventures
Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.

Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Your current risk analysis role is probably more like SAR investigations. You take an identified set of unusual transactions, often in the context of negative news, determine whether they're suspicious and support your conclusion with documentary evidence. Helps to be able to write a good narrative so definitely mention it if your current work inolves that. I suggest looking at FinCEN's website for their SAR filing requirements and trend reports, maybe the FFIEC examiner manual content on SARs, to memorize things like the minimum filing thresholds or the filing timeline.
For AML alerts, familiarize yourself with the types of red flags they're designed to catch. Things like structuring one large payment into a group of smaller payments or sudden changes in activity patterns on an account. An institution should train new hires on its particular alert scenarios and what to look out for. Alerts tend to be higher volume work but that's where most analysts start out. Some institutions divide the work of alerts & SARs between different staff and some have the same analysts doing both.
Thank you so much!!! This is really helpful!!
