Hi all! My past role was a pretty toxic environment - extremely unrealistic & ever-changing expectations & condescending behavior & an overall mean & anxiety riddled atmosphere. Any advice on what to ask future companies when interviewing to really dig & uncover any red flags? Getting real feedback & a true sense of things can be difficult bc typically you get back what they want you want to hear. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). How was everyone’s mental health and well-being been since this pandemic? Any discoveries you made about yourself or your loved ones?

Started a new role. For 9 years I was the go-to for every question for my team. It was exhausting and I was killing myself to please everyone, but I also kind of thrived on it. Now I’m the new kid on the block, know nothing, and feel like I’m adding very little value to my current firm pulling half the hours. I know eventually I will get up to speed and pull my weight. Feeling guilty for accepting a paycheck knowing I’m not adding value yet. Anyone else?

MIL had symptoms beginning 12/13 and tested positive for Covid. She wants us to come over on the 25th regardless of if she still tests positive or not because it’s out of the 10 day window and she could “test positive for a while.” It’s only her and my FIL in the house and he is showing no symptoms.
