Yes, but it takes effort like the post above says, and normally it cannot be done during business hours.
Definitely agree. Its harder to do when you have a family and more responsibilities I will say that. It was much easier back when I was single and didn't have as many responsibilities but I still try to make the time for it.
I very religiously schedule “Creative Time” both during work (at least twice a week) and sometimes on the weekend too. I need it for my sanity. I used to face the same issue as you but ever since I made this a ritual, I realized I always had the time... I just never structured it out for myself.
I totally get the feeling of wanting to dive into those creative explorations but never finding the time. It’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind, especially when you’re so busy. For me, I try to carve out small pockets of time—even if it’s just 20 minutes here and there—just to feed my creative side.
Being creative just requires discipline. That's the game really. Go back and look at the creative people who inspired you and you'll see they were all very disciplined. If you want to do something you'll find the time. Simple as that.
