Anyone at T-Mobile know how open to remote work the company is?

Currently making 180 TC at a large bank and have an offer from a FAANG for 260 TC. Salary is not much different (165) but bonus/equity structure is decent. fully remote, dope company etc. I’ll be moving laterally in terms of title but I get the impression the scope/impact is larger and leveling is different in tech… no brainer?

I have a final round interview for a job I’m extremely excited for tomorrow. I have been at my current job since July (unicorn startup). I also have been on medical leave for about a month and a half due to surgery. My current job is also just not quite the right fit for me. I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself but if I get the job, I’m a little worried about how it would come across to my current one. This isn’t a place I care about burning bridges too much but still it isn’t great.

Client recently offered me a job for an open req (industry eq SM). The work is flexible, the req is just to get me in the door but I decide what I want to work on (which I trust to be true). Much better culture, wlb, etc., but I’d be taking a 100k pay cut and be an IC with no team. Is it worth taking a step back in pay and responsibilities, or does it seem possible to get all in one?

Why are people always talking about client experiences/exposure? How does it actually benefit you?

I believe in the philosophy of learning from other's experiences, success stories, mistakes and regrets while keeping in mind that similar set of life events may unfold into totally different ways/outcomes for others as there are always too many variables in the equation called LIFE. Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!
