Are my chances at stern significantly hindered applying 1/15 vs 10/15?

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?

Hi, I have a 2 part question:

I did a “meet the team” interview 2 weeks ago and now the hiring manager set up a call on Tuesday. Is it safe to assume that’s a call to extend an offer?

If that’s a reasonable assumption, could I let another company (finished interviews last Friday) know ahead of time on Monday that I’m expecting an offer in the hopes of speeding up their decision making?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

01 with the hiring managers (Senior Vice President & Vice President) and second was with the Director, the second round happened approx. 2 weeks back, currently my job application status shows as "Business Review" can someone shed a light on what this means and how long does it take for Citi to get back with an answer i.e. am i selected or rejected.

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I've never worked at another firm.

Anybody with a priority date of mid-late 2015 that is considering switching jobs? I have an offer that I was about to sign, but saw that priority dates for filing in EB2 are already at sep 2014 this April. That makes me wonder if i could either miss my window or worse if the date becomes current while my new employer is still doing PERM. Has anyone received a job offer after being initially ghosted by recruiter? How long did you not hear from them? Feeling down after not hearing anything for 2 weeks after a round of seemingly promising interviews.

Assuming the following holds tomorrow, I expect we will get a call of AZ around 11:15am ET, and NV and PA around 12:15pm ET.

AZ: next batch of Maricopa ballots 55% or less for Trump

My intuition is that the networks want to call all three to provide extra margin for error given the stakes and fine margins.

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. I am not that smart. Got a very low score on ACT (below average). Should I even consider getting a MBA? My firm does offer sponsorship, but taking/studying for GMAT/GRE is already stressing me out.

At what point is an MBA math course worth it? I have a 48 (68 percentile) in quant so wondering if the MBA math course would boost my profile.
