Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.

Keep in mind that coming in as part of the ops practice won’t limit you from joining any project just like a generalist would
Ops consultant = generalist consultant for all intents and purposes. It really makes no difference
Source - I am ops consultant who has been doing sales and marketing work for over a year now.
Generalist recruiter probably passed on your resume but you can ask
Get the job then worry about it, coming from PwC myself, it’s nothing like PwC. At McK they’re pretty open to having you work on projects of interest even if they’re outside your practice areas
Also came from PwC tech consulting which was like the stepchild compared to MC/S& so i get where you’re coming from - it’s nothing like that

Also when you come in you can change tracks it doesn’t really matter
Thanks everyone for your insights!
