I recently joined Infosys and am currently on the bench. I used available WFH days from the system, but my manager rejected them and marked LOP, stating bench employees must work from the office 5 days. This wasn’t communicated earlier. Daily travel of 20+ km feels unreasonable when there’s no active project. Also, resumes are shared but no interviews scheduled. This lack of clarity and fairness is frustrating.

I'm 6 months old at D! Planning early promotion next year.. counselor and pm both are backing me.. I need to go to India for at least 4 weeks in Dec ... most probably would be rolling off from current project by then .. would this vacation hurt my promotion chances coz of utilization etc?
