Very few states prevent bullying. So yes, an employee can be treated that way.
Your commission question depends on whether the employee is exempt or non-exempt.
I’d disagree, verbal abuse is not allowed in any work place. More and more businesses are being sued for that sort of behavior..
It’s definitely funny that this question was posted in the privacy law bowl. However, to answer your question, verbal abuse is never okay at work, nor allowed.
