I recently saw a posting for a Senior Admin role that listed "industry leading, highly competitive compensation." After three rounds of interviews, I finally got the number, and it was $15k lower than what I’m currently making in a junior role. It felt like such a massive waste of time. If a job description says "competitive pay" but refuses to list a range, do recruiters even expect high-quality candidates to apply anymore?

Best to ask them during the first call. Worse thing happened to me at Sanofi, they said it was valid and then the offer was 10k lower

See that's just lame. Companies can be so shifty

Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

How is it like working in consulting vs tech vs industry?

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?
