It’s not you, It’s Gallagher. I promise. In their case the grass is Greener. Do what is best for you. Good Luck🍀
Leave before they put you on a PIP. They did that to someone I knew there. They did everything the PIP asked of them (which was unreasonable to begin with) and they STILL fired that person. LEAVE YESTERDAY.
My first instinct would be to suggest you learn the platforms and stick it out. But if you really believe you'll just be underwater no matter what, start making an exit strategy. Put out feelers and see what's available and get serious about finding a new job.
Define recently started. It can be overwhelming at first because they do have a lot of systems but I also think they have a lot of resources that help the service team get their jobs done.
I would just be honest and let your manager know. You aren't obligated to give two weeks but its better than just ghosting.
I get the importance of AMP and DMS but good God they suck. You'll also learn the longer you're here other branches use it differently. It is to "standardize" gallagher, but it makes you into a cog. That is exactly what they want you to be, see tenet 11 of the gallagher way.
It took me 11 months to get an answer that they weren't going to help me move into the position I wanted. I found another job, gave my 3 weeks and within 3 days they were willing to do what they wouldn't for 11 months. Just an fyi
Just had 2 other people leave due to the platforms, so I get it
I had the same exact experience with GenStar. My suggestion to you is to exit. The situation is not going to change. I did what was best for me and exited.
