I'm guessing it's something management suggested. What was it? They won't be taken seriously if they complain as they'll be told they agreed to it. Are people just going with the flow or are they worried for their jobs if they don't comply.
I have seen that happen too. People nod along then later vent about it in private. I think it often comes from fear of consequences. Creating real psychological safety is the only way decisions get challenged openly.

I don’t like the sound of that, no one should be scared or nervous to voice their opinion. At the end of the day it is your opinion, and management should let you voice your opinion. This is how you get to know what your employees really think, instead of just agreeing with you as it’s easier.
Exactly. Honest opinions are what actually help organisations grow. If leaders shut that down, they are choosing comfort over progress. I think we should value respectful disagreement as a sign of engagement, not defiance.
