Seems like a common thread, that employers are asking for more experience than the position requires, especially for entry level. I’d hope that if they’re going to ask for someone with that experience, that they will utilize you and allow you to flourish in that position-AND PAY WELL!

Totally agree. It’s one thing to want experience, but another to not support growth or offer fair pay. The job should match what they actually expect from you, not just on paper.

It’s the fact that lots of people are out of jobs and companies are banking on desperation so they can hire experienced people for little pay… hope the economy turns back around because this is painful.

Exactly, it’s frustrating when desperation drives the market instead of fair pay. Hoping for a shift soon so people get the value they deserve for their experience.
