Oh I think you can see the affect of technology all over the hospitality industry. You have online ordering, online and check in. Those check inkiosks. Data systems. Technologies that we use every day.
I don't think it's affected us that much. At least, not that much. Corporate might use technology that we are not privy to, but it doesn't seem to trickle down to us in the actual hotel. And I'm happy about that, I don't like AI at all.

I think they use a bit of AI in recruiting. Otherwise, I haven’t seen as much in other parts

I’ve been to a hotel where there was no front desk! It was a little weird at first but worked mostly fine as we did everything through text.

Wow! 😮 never seen that before. I was wondering if that would become a thing, being able to check in without an actual person. I’d imagine they’d still need at least one person to be there to help in case of issues…
