If you’re under a non-compete you’re the one who could get sued. Are you big potatoes or small potatoes. Will your former employer waste money on you taking away their business? Is this work they would have otherwise given the agency? How likely will it be high profile enough for your old agency to notice. These are the factors you have to ask.
Small potatoes, but work they might have given the agency. Former employer will notice and likely wont be happy. Thinking only way i'd take it is if new employer agrees to accept responsibility for potential damages for claims of a breach of non-compete. But that's highly unlikely, right? Going through outside vendor makes no sense and only protects former client. Not desperate for the work and not willing to take the risk. Hopping on a call shortly to discuss/negotiate. Thanks for the input!
Sketchy. This is what non-competes are for.
Doesn't matter if client says they'll accept responsibility. You signed the non compete so liability is yours should the agency decide to be vindictive.
Hopefully your non compete expires in a year...
