Now everyone around me hates their jobs, clients hate us, their bosses hate them and we get deadlines that make us hate each other. Above all of that, we have companies inhaling each other, culture and purpose entirely disappearing and AI taking our jobs - where the heck is safe to work anymore???

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
