1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. I am currently a Junior Engineer with 5 years experience, I have been with the same company for 3 years now. I have my yearly review coming up and was asked to present a raise I desire. I feel my company underpays their employees but was wondering what the average salary is for someone in my position. When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior). How do I approach this with my boss as I’m not sure she’s aware I’m actually technically a junior? Revolving around asking for a move up + raise
