Who wants to be a millionaire?
Hello Everyone!
I have done my bachelor's in mechanical engineering and master's in engineering management for process excellence from the uni of Glasgow and uni of Strathclyde respectively. I'm currently looking for jobs and have 2 years of running my own company. I'd be glad if anyone can help me with this and guide me accordingly. It would be ideal if I could get anything in process/operations but I'm flexible and am open to explore new areas.
Regards,
Aman

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

I am 4 years in with a non-Stem degree making ~$200k TC working in commercial pharma. Did 3.5 years in consulting before being recruited by my client to industry. I know people making more and less with the same experience. You should definitely be making over 100k regardless of location/COLA
You moved from engineering to big pharma?
It's the truth. I worked at the same company for 6 years out of college and was still only a level 2 engineer which is insane. Everyone's experience is different, but this is typically the case with your first and second jobs. The second or third job is typically where you can command a premium after you have demonstrated your value in previous roles, but you are very unlikely to find your deserved financial compensation when staying with the same company. Consider moving around if you want a big bump.
You are not PE yet right? It can be a leverage for upgrade though
A PE seems to have a $10,000 market salary increase. It really depends on your starting salary and if you’ve received inflation adjustments or real raises.
