I want to ask an urgent question -
I was on L1B and had a change of status to H1B through a consulting Co. Neither the employer nor did I knew that we had to change the job from 1 October only. The attorney did not give proper guidance.
I continued on my L1B job for 3.5 months and switched to H1B employer in January. Meanwhile I also got L1A approved in December.
My question is - I have two I94s now, what should I do to confirm my status? Was working on L1B for 3.5 months illegal?
