I was fired so my boss could pay a younger worker less. I was fired under exagerated excuses from cash generator. Reasons like lying, i told him i had dusted shelves but turned out i missed 1 shelf as i we had a busy day and i had been running about alots. My favourite reason was i under priced some items by a couples pounds. The younger coworker who was kept on genuinely, went to the post office to send a ebay order and sent the item back to the shop... not the customer.

I honestly am really tired of social situations at work, including group lunches, happy hours and game nights...do I have to like those things if I want to be successful ?!

For those that lateraled to another firm for FDD work - was your 2 week period paid out? Were you worked? Should I expect to have a 2 week paid vacation when I put in notice?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

I slept with a guy this weekend and went home without saying goodbye (aka waking him up to say goodbye). When I got a taxi, I sent him a text saying I was leaving because I was late for work (which was true). I didnt want to wake him up, but he considered this rude and unpolite from me. For me rudness was if I woke him up just to say goodbye 🤷🏻‍♂️
