I'd really love to explore working in the USA, I work for the BBC in the UK at the moment and would just love to make the move. It's such a big leap though, and I have no family or friends over there - my partner is willing to move over with me if we can figure it out. Does anybody have any experience of getting a TV/film job across the water and can offer any tips?! I've been applying for jobs at US companies that have a UK/US base but no luck so far.

So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?
