Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

Forever learner and obsessed with problem solving for the client/prospect, while knowing the sales process deeply and holding other roles internally to their part of the sale while you nail yours with the highest level of customer service and empathy for clients at all times. Obvi need to be good at the software and demonstration skills. But that you can teach and many attributes are hard to train than the software itself.
Def this!!! And not someone who will ignore details! Details can make or break a project so just make sure you care for what you’d be doing otherwise you and your clients will be in for a hell of a ride

This is true, but depending on the scenario; it can be personal. Just make sure you’re not just in it for a check because clients def. know the difference
