If a currently have a NTS for BEC and I take it in October and get my results back in time, I can re-apply for BEC as long as it’s before the November 12th deadline, right? Just want to make sure I’m reading it right (I’m a first time BEC taker and want to confirm I potentially have 2 try’s to pass). Tia!

My fiancé and I (ages 30 and 31) are about to buy a house. We would put down 10% for a 835k purchase price. Our combined income is $265k. I took FAR in Aug and AUD last week. Didn’t pass FAR and feeling like I may have passed AUD. My original NTS for them runs out on dec 18. If I get a new NTS for one of them to take before busy season do I have to wait to take it until after my original NTS runs out?

Oh my god. I am finally done with the CPA. It took me 5 years and I failed so many times, lost credit, spent thousands of dollars on different study materials, coffees, pens, etc. I can’t believe this day has finally come for me. If you’re struggling please don’t give up and don’t compare yourself to someone else. It will eventually happen for you if you keep pushing!

New York folks:
Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

Would it be wise to start NFP/GOV modules first for FAR since they are heavily tested ?
