Guys thoughts on #NNN..??
Any 1 lost already..?
I had an interview w/ the Hiring Manager at Boston Consulting Group for a position and it went so well that the HM said on the spot I was going to be moving onto the next round. Its been weeks since that interview & I've had to follow up w/ the recruiter 3x asking for an update. I mentioned interviewing elsewhere but prioritizing BCG. He finally responded to that saying he was going to debrief with the HM and get back to me but nothing... what gives?

I asked 8 weeks out and asked to see the LOR 2 weeks before it was due.
I also gave them a schedule for submitting the letters. Every 2 weeks I asked for them to submit a new school so that it wasn't a lot on them at once.

I gave them 2 months to write it. My recommenders were very reliable and finished them within 3 weeks. They submitted a month before the deadline. I would say if the deadline is 9/8, try to tell them to finish by mid August to avoid last minute panicking.
Look to catch up with recommenders ~8 weeks out (calendars are tough to match up) and aim to make the ask no fewer than 6 weeks out. 4 weeks out is the minimum IMO.
I did not ask to see the draft, but I did provide detailed instructions and themes/accomplishments I wanted them to include.
