If you're specifically looking to work in Canada, go Rotman. You'll be out of debt so fast. Rotman brand carries no weight in the US though.
If you’re looking for jobs in Canada, it’s probably one of the best options.
Depends on how much you are expecting to get paid . From what I remember , the average salary of a Rotman graduate is a bit lower than $100k CAD which is like $80K USD
If the ROI is there for you then sure . Companies like MBB hire from Rotman but only a handful . So it’ll be very competitive to get a top tier job even while you’re in Rotman as there are just less lucrative jobs available in Canada compared to the US .
So just think through what’s your goal , if it’s money then avoid Rotman .
Much lower than US counterparts ! But again , I’m not sure how many Canadian organizations are willing to dish out the money even if you were an MBA grad from tier 1/2 US schools
Forgot to add I’m working in the US now
MBB do not really hire in Canada. Canadian capital market is so small that there are not many available IB associates position.
I received offers from Canadian school MBAs and rejected them after I learnt that only very few people make MBB and IB. Yes, MBB and IB of big five banks hire from Canadian school MBAs but the spots are so limited. For IB, you also compete with bankers looking to change banks. This makes it very hard.
Most students that are interested in management consulting end up in Deloitte and other top tier non-MBB consulting firms.
