If you cooked something too spicy, what’s a way to take away some spice for others that may eat the same dish?

Typically if I know beforehand I would just add spice at the very end, and therefore take out a portion of the food that you will not add spice to.

Try adding acid like lemon or lime juice or a yogurt (depending on what you made) to neutralize the spice.

Acid, fat, sugar, alcohol.

As a spicy food conisour myself use whole fat milk or a high butterfat icecream or yogurt or buttermilk to bond to the Capsaicin and reduce or eliminate its burn effects. 🔥

I’ll add heavy cream.

Only senior on a demanding client, managing multiple staff and managers. I really like my team and the work but I’m starting to lose motivation and burn out after the long time being the only one in my position here... and I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but feels like I don’t get fairly paid for the amount of time and effort I put in... any advice to get out of this negative mindset?
