Hey. Just remember, it’s gonna be alright.
Is Soho House membership worth it?
Hello there, Nagarrians! After reading some posts about toxic managers who make life difficult for team members, I had a thought today just curious about it :-
we know managers give feedback and I believe these feedbacks at some point matter on our appraisals, so wouldn't it be great if there was a way for us to provide feedback to managers as well?

This is something that has shown up in the news lately and has been really bothering me. I can understand if there is a less known actor and a more famous one having a pay discrepancy, but lately I have been seeing famous actors getting paid more than their female counterparts. I hope by being transparent about pay this issue can be resolved/made better.
Sometimes its experience, and other times its factors such as discrimination like Producing Team Lead has said
I agree with A1. Their salaries vary depending on their experience and how they are most likely to bring profit to the show. You know sometimes that people will watch a show because it's Angelina Jolie or they will watch the concert because it's Beyonce. The bigger the name, the bigger the fee.
That is a condition that unfortunately is measured by charisma many times, a total example is the Friends series, the disparity of payments between one actor and another was abysmal.
That's just the name of the game. More in demand actors receive more because people watch the show because of them. What's so hard to get about that. It is only the logical consequence of fame and fortune/
Some people just bring in more hype and recognition to a project. It's the nature of the field, and it's not unique in that sense. More in demand talent has to charge more
What's the problem with this? Not all roles are created equal, and not all actors have enough demand to negotiate their salaries. It's pretty standard stuff, what's the issue with this?
It's because they have a different net worth. It's also because of their seniority in the industry. A lot of factors can actually affect their salaries.
This makes sense especially when a household name is involved in the show. They rake in more views. It is only logical that they receive more compensation.
